Completed in October 2006, Pavlou Estate is one of the newest wineries in the VQPRD region of Amyndeon (see also Amyntaion) in northern Greece. At an altitude of 650m above sea level, and strategically placed in the valley of the Agios-Panteleimon hills, Mother Nature provides the perfect blend of sun, rain, and wind to grow the native Xynomavro (also Xinomavro - pronounced “ksee-no-mav-roh”) grape.
The property is encompassed by fertile sandy-clay soil where approx- imately 8 hectares (20 acres/80 stremmata) of new vines have been planted.
